Anyone else see that LinkedIn post about the 'smell of a pharma sales expansion'? Seriously, what planet are these people on? Here at {post_company_name}, it feels less like expansion and more like territory consolidation with a fancy new name.
They're hiring, sure, but it's often for 'mirrored' territories or roles that are basically doing the job of two people.
It's not growth, it's just shuffling the deck and expecting more from less.
My territory just got 'optimized' again, and now I'm covering accounts that used to be two separate reps.
Is this the 'expansion' they're talking about?.
