Takeda's 600+ job cuts - is anyone safe anymore?

Just saw the news about Takeda slashing over 600 jobs in the US as part of their '2026 Restructuring.' It feels like every other week another big player is 'resetting' their operating model (aka laying people off).

I've got friends over there who are completely in the dark about whether their territories are being cut or merged.

Is this just the new normal? We hit a patent cliff or a trial fails, and the first thing they do is trim the field force.

I'm at Amgen and even here the 'quiet leaving' is real because nobody trusts the leadership to be transparent about the next 12 months.

How are you guys at Takeda holding up? Are the DMs giving you any real info or just the usual 'focus on what you can control' corporate speak?.
