I've been hearing a lot of talk lately about the 'high risk/high reward' culture at Bayer, but from where I'm sitting, it feels a lot more like 'high risk/no reward.' The quotas are getting more aggressive every quarter, and the pressure to perform is reaching a breaking point.
They talk about the big payouts for top performers, but the reality is that most of us are just struggling to stay above water while management threatens us with PIPs if we miss a single metric.
Is anyone actually winning in this environment, or is it just a race to the bottom for the field force?.
